I believe that a great user experience is one that goes largely unnoticed. To convey the actions and wants of a user to fall seamlessly inline with progression the designer wishes you to follow. This is what I strive for in all my designs; an interface that bring harmony between what you want and where you want to go.

Experience

With over 9 years total experience and over 7 years leading and directing UI/UX on more then 8 shipped titles, I have collaborated with Artist, Programmers and Designers alike. Meeting the goals of many different titles that utilize different interaction formats from touch, motion control and traditional gamepad.

Work History

November 2007 - Present
Partnering with Sony Computer Entertainment and Sony San Diego, Zindagi helped pioneer motion controls on the PlayStation 3. Through trial and error, I designed interface rules and standard that became shared through many PS Move titles. Zindagi has since moved over to mobile development, allowing me to become familiar with new challenges and designs.

Tasks:
·Designed and implemented frontend flow and aesthetic
·Created guidelines and standards for using and calibrating the PlayStation Move
·Setup and captured in game cut scenes and added post effects for pre-rendered cinematics
·Created and implemented in-game VFX
August 2006 - November 2007
Shipping two AAA titles a year, I worked in many different disciplines, with many teams to fill the needs of titles. Working closely with other artist and programmers I saw many aspect of the game from concept to final.

•Designed and implemented Frontend, in-game presentation and HUD
•Texture art for Player uniforms and equipment to achieve a photo realistic look
•Modeled Player heads to match pro athletes

June 2005 - Present
I have maintained an ongoing, contract base, working relationship with liquid productions for more than ten years. Working on various independent films, documentaries and television projects, I have provided visual effects, motion and still graphics.

Tasks:
·Generate graphic packages for video projects, including title blocks, lower thirds, credits and visual FX
·Create marketing material and branding for small business



Game UI/UX Design

Lead UI Artist and Designer for more the 7 years working on many platforms including Console(PlayStation 3-4 /XBox 360-One), Mobile (iOS/Android), and PC

VFX

Creating attractive and efficient visual effects focused around character, environment and presentation. Using Particles, material/shader effects, and sprite based.

Promotional and Marketing

Outside the games designed, I have created many promotional campaigns to promote them as well. Including Video and graphical adverts.
